With a personal invitation Stefan Drechsle, Teppich Drechsle Lörrach, participatet in the honor at the cultural center „CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU“ in Paris. The ceremony took place in the highest floor at the Cafe Georges V. Pierre Paulin, who furnished not less than three times the Elysée Palace for the presidents Pompidou, Giscard d´Estaing and Mitterand, co-operates since several years with Teppich Drechsle in carpet design. Many of his Design furniture rank as classics. Thanks to the close and meanwhile very personal co-operation Stefan Drechsle managed to keep the marketing rights for Paulin carpets worldwide. In Paris Mr. Drechsle was told by the press that another designer of www.designercarpets.com is nominated for the next year 2005 for “the designer of the year” award. Namely Patrick Norguet, a young designer with a huge talent and international activities. |
